Jason Reads: The Red Deal by the Red Nation

I'm back with another Jason Reads. This time, I am reading The Red Deal by the Red Nation. I am reading from the Introduction, and I will be sharing the Four Principles. I think it is incredibly important to ground organizing efforts in the words, works, and wisdom of Indigenous organizers on the frontlines fighting for their liberation.

This is all part of a weekly series where I read segments from other people's words or works, and share on this blog and on social media. It's all part of my praxis for 2026 because the times call for Us All to try and make meaning of this mess so we don't repeat what's already not working for Us All.

And please join me for THURSDAYS Are for Queers & Comrades at 465 Collective. It's EVERY THURSDAY. Doors Open at 5:30pm, and we start with the setting of space. Then, we have Queer Art Club in the back gallery all night with a range of art projects and supplies. At 7pm, we start casually gathering in the front Lounge for a casual weekly club. The event ends at 9pm.

This week (Thursday, March 26, 2026) we have Q&C Archive Club.
