I joined the San Francisco People's Budget Coalition in March 2026. As a Steering Committee member, one of the things I can lend my skills towards is helping break down the budget in visual ways that aid a broader public in making meaning of all the numbers. It is an aesthetic, word, story, and design puzzle, and I absolutely love solving puzzles!
Check out the gallery of infographics below for the designs I've made so far. A huge shout out to Zachary Friel of SOMCAN for all of the data that supports these designs. It is a collective effort to make a city budget more accessible to the people, and I hope these contributions clearly show that the current priorities of City Hall are not the priorities of San Franciscans. All data can be found here.
