Say it with us: When we say Anti-Racist, we mean “working to abolish White Supremacy.” 
 
In 1996, as part of the Training Committee for my AmeriCorps cohort, I brought the People’s Institute for Survival & Beyond to Minnesota to train us on what it means to be Anti-Racist. Since then, I have worked diligently to better understand the legal, cultural, and psychological tendrils of White Supremacy so I can better understand my own occupation in this cosmos & on this land. In doing so, I can find movements that do not continue perpetuating the long held traditions of White Supremacy Culture & instead walk pathways towards our collective liberation.
