About the event
ABOUT CRAFTING + STORYTELLING: HAND TWINING SCRAP ROPE + JAPANESE FOLKTALES
Join Midori for a gentle afternoon of fiber crafting and Japanese folktales. Learn a simple, no-tools method for turning scraps, rags, and fibers into colorful twine—a meditative and grounding folkcraft shared across cultures. As we twist and twine, Midori will delight us with her take on traditional tales of shapeshifting animals, undersea kingdoms, small gods, and unexpected lessons, all told with her signature humor and twist.
