I’ve shouted variations of this chant for decades, and today it feels especially crucial that we stand up and fight back for our trans kin. Whether it is anti-trans legislation in Florida or Missouri or the killing of trans neighbors by armed security guards in San Francisco, trans people are under attack across this country and the world. It is our duty as comrades to not just state with our words that we support our trans kin, but that we proactively, “Defend Trans Folx,” whether in our halls of legislature or as we are leaving Walgreens.
