What the 🤬 was I thinking?

These are f@€%ing trying times; here’s some f@€%ing levity.

It’s been a rough 2020, and it looks like the shit might stay with us into 2021. It can all be . . . a bit fucking TOO MUCH!

In order to deal with the overwhelm, I doodle and draw. Every so often, I create a style, phrasing, or aesthetic that brings me immense joy. Sometimes, that thing inspires other things like it. I become obsessive over capturing that joy over and again. I stop only when it becomes tedious and rote.

Right now, I’m finding much humor in the complete f@€%ing idiocy of trying to survive amidst a pandemic that our f@€%ing federal government is f@€%ing failing to adequately address. The well worn, “if I don’t laugh, I’ll cry,” comes to mine. I’ve cried A LOT lately for many different reasons. I’ve also laughed through my tears, not in spite of them.

Here’s a selection of f@€%ing drawings that I think capture my state. They are just tragic and melodramatic enough. And the characters’ expressions express the numerous faces I’ve made during this pandemic

ALSO! This is a good example of content that will be moving over to my paid subscription service in 2021.
