So often I’ve been told, “Get your head out of the clouds!” “Come back down to earth!” “You’re just so spacy!” “Why can’t you just be grounded?!?” 

What I’ve come to realize is that we are on a big rock full of life orbiting a sun in a tiny little solar system in a mid-sized galaxy among a myriad upon a myriad other galaxies all just floating in an infinite cosmos. And if that’s the case, I can become just as grounded by floating in space as I can being rooted like a tree. For the earth is what connects us to the stars.
